Royal Ontario Museum celebrates 100th Anniversary!

March 19, 2014 was momentous occasion. Toronto’s renown Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), celebrated its 100th anniversary.  The ROM is an agency of the Government of Ontario and is Canada’s largest museum of natural history and world cultures with 6 million objects from art, archaeology and natural science. There are eight Centres of Discovery – Ancient Cultures, Biodiversity, Contemporary Culture, Canada, Earth & Space, Fossils & Evolution, Textiles & Fashion and World Art & Culture and one can’t emphasis the popularity of the dinosaurs. The plans for this Centennial year will include exhibits both inside and outdoors under the sunny summer sun under the Crystal angles, the new monumental addition to the fabulous old building.  The slogan, Love the ROM, is easily done.
